I have a friend who bought a laptop three (3) months ago. Earlier this week, that laptop is experiencing some kind of minor problems and my friend is planning to bring it to the service center. Unfortunately she was able to put the laptop warranty receipt or card somewhere else and couldn’t find it. She was really worried that her 3 month old laptop won’t be repaired or replaced or whatever.

Anyone who has bought an electrical appliance, a computer, luggage or some other home product probably has found a postcard-size folded questionnaire in the box the item came in — that’s called a warranty card or receipt. Warranty cards or receipts are very, very important. In case the product is destroyed, lost or stolen, you can easily ask help from the manufacturer. And oh, through this warranty card, I guess it just shows your ownership to the product you have bought.
