
It’s long been known that women who smoke are less likely to conceive and bring a baby to term. But, a new study suggests that merely being around puffers can also harm your chances of having a health pregnancy. University of Rochester researchers found that forty percent (40%) of women who reported being exposed to secondhand smoke at some point in their life had difficulty getting or staying pregnant, possibly because toxins in smoke can enter a woman’s body, potentially damaging her reproductive organs.
